Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil/structural engineering, an analytical mindset, and a willingness to work on challenging structural design projects.
This position is suitable for candidates with 1–7 years of relevant work experience. Freshers with strong technical knowledge and relevant software skills are also encouraged to apply.
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- M.E. / M.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–7 years of relevant experience in structural engineering/design.
- Freshers with relevant technical skills and knowledge may also apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of various building and infrastructure projects.
- Develop structural models and carry out analysis using industry-standard structural engineering software.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Design structural elements such as beams, columns, slabs, foundations, shear walls, and other structural components.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Review structural drawings and ensure design consistency and constructability.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate project requirements into practical structural solutions.
- Assist in resolving technical and site-related structural issues.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and technical discussions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and deliver assigned work within project schedules.
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on working experience with ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and/or RCDC is essential.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of load calculations, structural systems, and design methodologies.
- Basic understanding of construction practices and structural detailing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant engineering tools is desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to US Codes and Standards such as ACI, ASCE, AISC, and related standards is preferred.
- Experience working on projects designed according to international codes will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of structural design for commercial, residential, industrial, or other building projects is desirable.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams is an added advantage.
